@Sebalarios east plague wasnt darker tone, it was just ugly, orange and infested with nasty mushrooms. like max said the lower poly count and terrible textures added to effect but it really wasnt Blizzards intention. it was just a happy accident effect. nothing in wow was ever dark and edgy, maybe alittle spooky, but that was disney spooky since 2004.
