  2. presentation is secondary to the writing, if the writing is shit, theres very little a performance can do to salvage it. if it were a really good story from the get go, I could see how it being presented poorly could damage it but the writing is shit from the getgo, and you could have Alex screaming and emoting like a mother, but its still the same shallow bland story that no one cares about. like a cake, if the cake is shit, the flavor of the icing is moot.

  4. the speed of the talking has nothing to do with it. its the fact you have no emotional investment in any of these new characters, alex and frosty the snow witch could scream at the top of their lungs and you would have same level of investment as you do now, which is zero. anyone who thinks otherwise is a complete moron and doesnt understand writing.
