  19. his biggest error is calling micro-transactions a "necessary evil", they are absolutely not necessary. those skins you buy don't go towards the developers, they go to the suits on top's pocket. if they sell 100 more skins, you dont get an extra patch of content, you get 100 more skins for you to buy, because sparkle ponies make bank, expansions/patches dont.

  29. the thing about the "infinite battle rezes" is that each takes a huge chunk of MP to cast and to hard cast them takes time you dont always have in the middle of the fight. sure there is swiftcast but thats for one cast, and if you need to rez multiple people, you will either need to leave them dead until swiftcast comes back up or hard cast a raise. on top of that, you get essentially an one minute or so rez sickness debuff that reduces your potency and can lead you to getting one shot again if you are not careful. its laughable when people think having as many battle rezes in a fight as you want will somehow make the fights cheap and easy. the fact the raid developers know you can battle rez at any time, they tune the fights around it being there. so you have harder hitting mechanics and more one shots than you would have if you had a limited number.

You cant simply destroy the eyes, they are still filled with potent energy, it would be like setting an atom bomb at the gates of ishgard, nuking the entire place.

  33. the Mcconnells of wow are the literal guild slayers, they come in with their negative aura and destroy any fun you may be having to fuel their need to judge other people. its less about the game and more about wanting to be a judgmental prick to other people. I think every guild Ive been in that suddenly died, is because someone invited a Mcconnell in, they took over and nuked the fun.

  37. I dont mind people criticizing, as long as the criticism is genuine and not fabricated. Ive seen people criticize a game but take something small and minute then blow it grossly out of proportion. literally making a mountain out of a mole hill just to play the "Gotcha" game. there are some people who literally lie about a game when they cant find something to blow out of proportion. Then they will get horribly angry and defensive when you call them out for playing the "Gotcha" game.

I always liked the way XIV changed up the jobs without adding in new buttons to press, they just added traits that changed X Skill into Y Skill, complete with new animations and maybe a buff to damage. Like MCH, they changed the strafing cone shot into you pulling out a shotgun and blasting a cone spread. no new button but it looks cooler and does a bit more damage. Honestly, they could have adopted a similar trait style system that changed core abilities to be themed around the hero trees. so when you saw someone using a hero tree, you could see a visual change. a hero tree paladin doesnt just play like a hero tree paladin, all their spells and abilities look like a hero tree paladin.

  50. I was in a guild that was small, and during wrath the guild leader wanted to so Ony25. Sadly we could only field a 10man team so he looked around and found another guild who wanted to run Ony25 as well but they were a few people short. So our 10man team, the ones online, supplemented the rest of the roster, our main tank, the two healers and few of the dps. The raid leader stipulated that anyone doing under 4% of the total damage would get 25 pts deducted from all rolls on loot. A bullshit rule but the guild leader was insistent on us running. So we entered the raid, no fuss no muss, we managed to down Onyxia. Now comes the loot. the 2H sword drops. I wanted it. Im sitting there on my ret paladin and I roll, knowing full well I was going to get the bullshit roll reduction. So it was three of us, two warriors from the other guild and me, the ret paladin. I roll high, so high in fact, even with the 25 pt deduction I still trounce both warriors. I won the roll, even with the odds stacked against me, I won it legit fair and square. The chat lit up like a christmas tree. people calling me filthy names, people demanding the sword be given to one of the warriors, they "deserved" it. Typical nonsense. even the warriors were livid. for like 20 min the chat was like a field of howler monkeys screeching and throwing poo in my direction. finally, my guild master steps up "They won the roll, they won the sword, clear as day." My guild master has been in whispers with the raid leader discussing the situation. The raid leader and loot master relented. The sword dropped into my bags. After the rest of the loot was distributed, the guild members pitched in to get it fully gemmed and enchanted. I wore that sword proudly in Dalaran, and its still in my characters bank to this day. A little female draenei paladin had won the day. Thats the sort of guild you want to be in, not some shitty guild that steals gear from pugs while trying to take the high road pretending to protect their guild mates.
