  2. if the more you know about something, the less hype you get just goes to show it wasnt worth the hype in the first place. if your level of ignorance is directly inverse to your level of hype just shows a level of unimaginable stupidity. in fact, I think the more you know about a game, your excitement for it should increase. if you hear about a game and your hype boner engorges, only to deflate and soften as you learn more about it, goes to show you were being taken advantage of, which is why I think most advertisement and PR these days rarely go too much in depth about games. all they do is manipulate the useful idiots to build hype for a game that will probably bomb. Im sure they will get millions in the first few months then the player count will probably plummet before it hits the three month mark.
