  2. gearscore was broken for a reason, it wasnt based on logical progression, it was based on how valuable the person making Gearscore though the gear was. they rated gear from raids higher than gear from vendors. so two players with identical item levels would have wildly different gearscores. plus the fact they made the salty choice of reducing gearscore if you had the sparklepony in your mount tab. just a bunch of salty raiders trying to keep 'undesirables' out of raids and dungeons. item level was the better solution because if you have 251 item level, you clearly have been doing ICC, so why would anyone deny you entry into a 10m group based on that? We all know that most wow players are terrible at the game and stack the deck in their favor because they have a fear of failure. They self nerf content for the prestige, then have the audacity to preen around like they know what theyre doing. And these are the morons who use Gearscore as a metric.
