You cant simply destroy the eyes, they are still filled with potent energy, it would be like setting an atom bomb at the gates of ishgard, nuking the entire place.

  2.  @sergelengerelmaa2450  there is the base expansion, and then 3 patches to wrap up main story sort of like an epilogue, followed by two patches of lead up to the next expansion. they usually sow seeds of future stories in the lead up patches.
