  1. your location can effect the potency of your spells... that sounds as horrible as "fire cant hurt fire elementals". sometimes logic and theming doesnt make for good gameplay. sure its cool you can have fire being shit in cold weather from a design standpoint but gonna suck for anyone who like to throw fireballs when they hit like a wiffle ball just because the ambient temperature is under 75 degrees. I thought we learned this lesson back in the early 2000's.

  2. time and time again, if you are expecting big success from hardcore-centric MMOs, you are in for a wake up call. they either scramble to fill in the casual void or die a painful death. as loud as that community sounds, they are pretty niche.
