  1. because Hardcore is a total gimmick, theres nothing hardcore about vanilla wow. nearly every single death can be attributed to mostly stupidity or hubris with a small sprinkling of bad luck. the whole point of it is to feed the ego of people who suck at the game pretending that they dont suck, the game was just hard.
