pay to win mechanics are pretty easy to spot, its the pay for convenience mechanics that are truly insidious. all the developer has to do is make things just inconvenient enough to incentivize you to fork over some cash to get over it. also most are far more lenient on their dissatisfaction of PfC mechanics.

@supertrexandroidx they made it free to play because of mopes like you who think their practices are necessary to fund the game. they chose to make it ftp, they chose to design it in such a way to incentivize you to give them money. its all to pull the wool over consumers eyes in order to fleece you for your cash. they could have easily adopted a sub model and you could fun the game giving them 14.99 a month (or whatever your regional equivalent is) and skipped the pay for convenience mechanics but they make more money the free to play way, a lot more money that is required to run the game.
