  2. video game whaling is like those people who win the lottery who are poor and waste it all on stupid purchases of things they want, but when they inevitably eat through all the money they go woe is me, winning the lottery ruined my life. when in reality it was their poor decision making skills and lack of self control that doomed them in the end.
