  2. if you were to listen to people, it was like FF never evolved past the original NES game. While they stuck to the basic turn based system, they did alot to evolve that system to get all they could get out of it. there are even FF tactical games so its not the first time they have moved out of their comfort zone to try a different genre. its just the first time they did it with a mainline title and not a spin off series.
