that was their biggest mistake, there was a reason WoW ditched that shit early on but people in their hubris like to think it was some beloved system when attunements were an albatross on everyones neck that the majority hated.

the problem is, the devs for Wildstar were delusional and made the game into what people think vanilla wow was all about, then stubbornly held their course as the game died around them and only course corrected too late when the finally saw the writing on the wall. Unfortunately, they were unsuccessful and the game went the way of the dodo.
