  1. people fail to realize fast and the furious had nothing to do with street racing, it was the back drop, its always been a heist movie. the whole point of the first movie was Dom & Co. were pulling daring high speed thefts and Brian was there to stop him. the actual street racing was superfluous to the plot. you could have replaced it with just about anything and the plot wouldnt really change one iota.
