  1. Im sorry, I disagree, for anyone who has watched dragon ball, the arale episode is a return to form. the show was entirely about martial arts, off the wall humour and sight gags. Anyone who says otherwise clearly didnt watch the original Dragon Ball and bases their assertion solely from Z onward. Also FYI, the original series also had a "Goku meets Arale" episode which was beautiful.

  5. the biggest difference is the comic was written by an arrogant man child with a hate boner for superheroes and the comic was him metaphorically breaking other peoples toys. the show is a bit more well written and nuanced at times, even if it does fall into the same occasional trap.

  25. +Dominic Z'Graggen They didnt even get the plot correct enough for the twist. Auron, Jecht and Tidus werent dreams. They were all dead spirits that were walking around. Only Auron knew he was actually dead, and it was the main reason why he didnt go into the farplane with the rest of them because he accepted his death already but he had business still. Tidus had no clue whatsoever for awhile.

Id binge watch the land before time and its sequels before Id bother watching He-ra, androgynous of ridiculousness. the art style is complete shit. and no, she doesnt have to be busty, leggy, scantily clad nor even have constant make up... though Id like a female to look like a female. none of the people defending this crap would bother complaining that He-man was pretty much the same thing, rippling muscles, chesty, and scantily clad. Id still say the same if they made a he-man who looked like a prepubescent 7 year old.

Yeah I know what you mean, its better to create a good hero who just happens to be a minority then to take an existing one or creating a new one and making their ethnicity their defining characteristic. I find thats a thing alot of comic publishers dont seem to understand when they pull silly stunts like that black/latino spiderman replacement. Thats why characters like Static and John Stewart as the Green Lantern work so well.
