  1. yes take something with vibrant colors and wildly imaginative and turn it into something bland and uninteresting. sounds like a reboot for modern times.

  2. why make a decent show when you can just throw out shoddy crap with a well known IP and just bank on the nostalgia factor while making it so that it barely resembles the old IP outside of a few 'references' and names. thats the reboot formula being used today.
