of course, with no prompting most women gravitate to one thing and men gravitate to another. there are outliers for sure but by and large the two groups are interested in differing things. to try to shove a square peg into a round hole and call it "diversity" is just silly.

they would have to give a shit about the other side of the playerbase, namely the men. we all know 'progressives' and feminists hate men and dont give a shit if they are ostracizing them. in fact they revel in the idea of ostracizing men because they are all misandrists at their core.

back in 1987, I played a female lead RPG on the sega master system. it was called Phantasy Star. its by and large my favorite game of all time. it wasnt the most story heavy game, and it was short but beautiful. a young girl out to avenge the death of her brother at the hands of robotic police in control of a power mad king. that was literally the first few moments before starting the game. she enlisted the help of three companions and they saved their small three planet solar system from evil. she was driven, compassionate and likeable. if the game were made today, her only trait would be "woman" because thats all female protagonists are these days. its sad that they made better female protagonists 34 years ago. its like the world is regressing every single day.
