I don't think it is a "fear of change." Remember, they were protesting before Giga Berlin even broke ground for the factory. These are people who are funded by the oil companies and funded by the Unions in Germany. Also, a lot of people have been laid off from not just the well established German auto manufacturers, but also auto workers have been laid off all over Europe. 😳 Which in turn, also hurts the suppliers. As you mentioned before, there is a Mining company up the road that is far more hazardous to the environment than the Tesla factory can ever be. Yet these "wanna-be environmental protesters" do not seem to mind the environmental hazards the well established mining company is causing.
