  1. Well they are beginning to partner up. Sam said BYD is making EV cars for Toyota. And Honda is parting up with Chevy to make EVs .

  2. I hope someone comes in here and answer your question. I guess if you change the chemistry make up for the battery, probably will have to get new suppliers . I can see where they'd be locked in with certain suppliers that cannot meet the newer needs. A lot going on behind the scenes , I have no idea what's going on. No doubt the transition will not be as easy as it seems.

  3. By 6 years from now all the EV Battery technology should have slowed down and there will be much more "Charge uP" stations sprinkle throughout America. A EV Battery of today will be obsolete within 2 + years from now. The cost of EVs will come down 🤔 . NO rush for me ⏳️

  4. Early last year no one foreseen the price of nickel doubling and I know the other rare Earth materials because of the demand will rise in costs also. So even though the manufacturing will be more efficient via the making of the batteries, I don't see the battery cost going down.
