  1. Yep Another reason I'm holding off from buying an EV. A battery of today will be extinct 2 and a 1/2 years from now. I am "#Patron_Member" here to learn all I can about EVs. Before I begin to pay a six year *Note on one. And to help #Sam out.

  3. @Miles Coleman   I agree. The EV technology and everything around it is advancing faster and faster, for the Good. You say 20, I say more like 15 years. Very early buyers of EVs with the 3G technology, are now dead in the Water once "5G" kicked in. I think only Tesla came up with an adapter for their EVs.

  4. @Sailing on a Summer Breeze  They have been finding ways to cut costs during the manufacturing batteries, but the components kept getting more and more expensive, so it negated any of the manufacturing advantages.

  6. Because of the use of EV batteries and storage needs, Every component needed to make the batteries quickly went up in price. Graphite cost went up, the cost of Nickel soared, phosphate price went up and the cost of Lithium went through the roof. I do hope this sodium battery technology takes off and bites all those other Very Greedy people in the butt 🤨 (As in, "they" did Not see ThaT coming) 🫣
