No they are not ā—ļø One of the reasons, General Motors and Ford, a few other OEMs have banned together to use the tesla charge of stations is because most of the other third Affiliated charge substations don't stay on top of their equipment. Also using your cell phone with some of the other charge stations is a nightmare. Many people like to go camping, do it for a whole week. Many campsites do not have a charge upstation. Your battery is dead within 2 days, 3 days. Or you are forced to go to a campsite that you really don't care about, but it has a charge of station... "whooop pee" . A lot of you people that have EVS have no idea how the other 2/3 people live. Paying on a seven year note on a EV doesn't give you much money left over to also get a solar system for your house, and the Power Wall is out of the question. I wouldn't even think of getting an EV if I can not afford home charge up capability, because that is were the savings kick in , in owning a EV.
