  5. ​ @someuser7501  Most of Chicago residence do not have garages. Have you seen how those houses are built. Go ahead and run electric power cord from your Apartment across the sidewalk, then to your EV. That is parked at the curb ❕️ You will be running through power cords every week, because people there will steal them. In the summer time , have a skateboarder trip over the cord. Or someone walking. So yeah they have to go to a public charge up station, With a battery that is not preheated.

  6. Most you people got it really nice. 🙏 When living in rowhouses or in an apartment, you can't always park your vehicle in front of your own place. When one comes home , you either have to park your vehicle two houses up or two houses back. Curb side. 😒 The bottom line is that a lot of these Chicago people don't know all that intells in owning a EV. "Prehead your battery" 😳 wattz Dat 🤷🏼‍♀️

  13. Lot of people in California have garages for their EVs no matter what brand. Many people in Chicago park their cars ICE or EV outside.

  14.  @nallebrean  In America they are still building the infrastructure for EVs . Many of our homes do not have garages, and more so, people living in apartments do not have indoor parking.

  22. I am so used to "Gas and Go" ! Hertz is unloading their Teslas and replacing them with ICE vehicles. Americans on vacation, special Older Americans don't want to be wasting their time at a charge uP station while on a vacation. European people have patience. 🙏 Not so much for Americans. 🤨

  23.  @matthewwakeham2206  Every time I do my comment with the "Link" , my comment does not come up. The downtime to repair a Tesla. Is a much longer downtime than ICE vehicle. Another factor. Hertz needs their vehicles, EV or ICE up and running. I also subscribe to the "Wham Bamm Tesla Cam" channel and what normally takes a ICE vehicle to be repaired in two weeks, A similar accident with a Tesla have the vehicle down between three and six months.
