  1. Escalation is entirely up to Putin. He'll be stopped in Ukraine or he'll have to be stopped other places later. All we're doing is helping Ukraine defend themselves. What it takes to do that depends on what Russia does, but it needs to be done. Putin's feelings about it are his problem. He intends to escalate as far as it takes to get a victory out of his mistake. We're responding, not escalating.

  2. If Ukraine doesn't get what it needs, the other countries will need those weapons for their own defense, and their own troops will get killed doing it. If Ukraine does get what it needs, the war ends there and no one else's country gets devastated. There's absolutely no sign of Zelensky wanting to be friends with China and he hasn't said a word anywhere about wanting them to be an ally. I'd accuse you of being a Russian troll, but they usually don't sound this dumb.

  3. Russia doesn't work that way. Everyone lies to the one above him, and he lies even more to the one above him. By the time it gets to the top, all plans have been exceeded and everything has gone much better than expected. No one is about to tell Putin anything negative. That's an admission that he has failed and must be punished.
