Come on? Wise up. The BBC have been skewing debates for way more than 3 decades.

@user-cx4ng9vw1i Have you tried holidaying in North Korea? Sounds like your sort of place.

BLM = Burn Loot Murder. Disgusting cult.

Integrate? He is western. It's called shared values. It is those that aren't and don't that are the problem.

Agree. I've been left u n d e r w h e l m e d.

He's nobody's fool.

Enjoy Critical Drinker's output. Insightful and entertaining. The sort of company I'd enjoy in a bar, or in a lounge with friends.

Spot the 'liberals' in the audience? (Hint: look for the humourless and the po-faced who during Konstantin's speech were face-planted in their phones on The Guardian's app.)
3
@bigm317 Something that doesn't impact you I expect? 🤔

I doubt the teachers would be up to it? Most of them are indoctrinated somewhat more than they are educated. I have a sister who was an Advisory Teacher by the age of 26 – and her lack of basic knowledge on so many subjects is frankly shameful. She is the archetypal example of someone taught what to think, rather than how to think. We are both long since retired; and her mind is the opposite of "expanded" for her working life in education.

Used to listen to James Whale in the mid-late 1970s when he was at Metro Radio at Newcastle; Thursdays at 8pm "Bedrock". Just fantastic listening.
3
I doubt the veracity of the "green jobs" she quoted. My understanding is that most of the wind-turbines manufacture is in Italy. It'd be interesting to know how much steel is used as a percentage of construction cost. Apart from children, adults who never grew up and the 'usual' anti-capitalist types, it seems the public is working out for itself that the assertion there's a 'climate crisis' needs to be treated with some scepticism?

@billy2141 I split my time between Rep of Ireland and North Yorkshire. There are no such jobs! Drax has been burning lignite imported from Chile – I have spoken to people that have worked there for years who ALL say that. It's a disgusting lie that she uttered.

Well said.

Hearing what is still happening on the BBC explains why I've stopped listening to it for 17+ years (maybe considerably longer). It only speaks to the Islington set. UK is now a long way down the road to totalitarianism; very apparent from here in 🇮🇪. Our Dáil is as bad by the way.

Political Correctness maxed-out.

…underwhelmed 🥱 by her.

I've enjoyed the African Nations Cup. Direct play, little cheating, pretty good discipline, and a lot of entertainment.
2
I'll take your word for it, since I only tune in to one (and that isn't the BBC).
2
What an odious little squirt Rory Stewart proves himself time and again to be.
2
James O'Brien is still going? Listening to him was like purgatory the one or two occasions I tried.
2
Doing everything right. 🕊and🤝from🇮🇪.

Look at UK Column News. Superb analysis – all of it referenced.

I gave her 15 minutes. She is clueless. Global warming? Gender? 🤡🤡🤡

@bledback2life NuLabour's Blair and Mark Malloch Brown are centre operatives for the Marxist organisation Common Purpose. CP runs the public sector in the UK and its reach is across the entire Commonwealth. WEF has its 'leftist ducks' all in a row. It was why they were required to intervene in the 2020 presidential election; Trump would have destroyed their plan. To understand how Boris Johnson was manipulated, and the deal with the globalists that gave him the keys to Downing Street: look for an interview mid November 2021 by James Delingpole, talking to Jennifer Arcuri (Johnson's ex-girlfriend of 4 years). It all makes sense, believe me. Nigel Farage has seen the globalist elitists threat earlier than most. I like that he supports Richard Tice. And I would love to see William Clouston on board with them.

@ "Coloniser's perspective"? Yeah? Keep learning 🙏🏻

Similar experience.
2
@geraldrada Of course. You are absolutely correct. The ONLY real reason the UK's "carbon footprint" is as low as it is, is because the UK exported its manufacturing (a process that began more than 20 years ago) to India and China. Even that visionary and self-proclaimed "Saviour of the World", the one-eyed Scot Gordon Brown, admitted under his failures as Chancellor of the Exchequer and as PM that EVEN THEN there had been a problematic imbalance between manufacturing and service economies.

One word to describe my reaction to her interview: U N D E R W H E L M E D.

A fantastic man; excellent interview. What a contrast to all the race-baiters both sides of the Atlantic. A message for all of humanity is right here on this podcast.

4:26 "…a hard Brexit". Don't make me laugh. And you describe Rory Stewart as an "academic`'? Triggernometry just went down in my estimation for not challenging such nonsense.

She moved away from the 'Left' a long time ago. And, they've hated her ever since. She is a clever woman 🕊🇮🇪

Well your friends might like to wise-up about our Chancellor of the Exchequer (R.S.) In 2009 he co-founded a hedge fund firm, Theleme Partners. Curious choice of name because of a close similarity to Thelema (do a simple web search). Is the Chancellor declaring who he really serves?
1
"Ancien". (Pronounced on-say-on with a soft nasal "n"). Ancien Régime: literally "old régime". It refers to the governance of France – from the middle ages up until the Revolution of 1789. The "revolution" was a peasants revolt against the land-owners that principally were the aristocracy and the Catholic Church (a simplistic postulation, of course).

Just be aware the Tory Party isn't what you think it is. For a start, get clued-up about our Chancellor of the Exchequer (R.S.) In 2009 he co-founded a hedge fund firm, Theleme Partners. An almost inappropriate choice of name because of a close similarity to Thelema (do a simple web search). Is the Chancellor declaring who he really serves? Johnson is no Tory. At Cambridge he was a paid-up member of the Liberal Party! To understand the "deal" he was offered for the keys to 10 Downing St, there's a very interesting interview from mid-November 2021 conducted by James Delingpole with BoJo's ex-girlfriend of 4 year, Jennifer Arcuri. VERY REVEALING. And worth your trouble, believe me. Share!

Some on 'the UK Left' might have thought that, once. But not in my 59 years.

@deal2live Scotland is a good example. For a substantial minority of Scots, when they are not being sectarian they are being nationalist. But I stress, it is a MINORITY. The problem is that the minority in question NEVER get called-out.

@AbstractDigitalDNB Catholics are Christians. Not playing with the full pack? 🕊🇮🇪☘

If the Grauniad reports it, it's usually inaccurate, and probably a lie.
