  3.  @tharic4981  As I understand it, the tests are "testing" for antibodies to the spike protein. With T-cell immunity, antibodies aren't produced. So the tests can't definitively prove you've had Covid-19. In other words, if you detect for spike protein antibody, it only "proves" you've had a Specific Immune System Reaction. By extension, natural immunity will have a range of antibodies sensitive to a large number of Covid-19 surface proteins (and not JUST the spike protein). So, by deduction, it is possible to have antibodies to non-spike protein – which the tests as designed currently, are unable to detect.
