  3.  @thegrandmuftiofwakanda  So, to purposely mislead the House and the electorate isn't distinguishable from unknowingly or unintentionally misleading the same? Therefore would that not be untenable for the perpetrator with regard to the reputation of the House (and indeed, themselves)? Maybe it isn't breaking the laws of your land to knowingly state untruths in the Commons. (I don't know.) Members have historically tendered resignations for less. I suspect your Parliament and Queen (the monarch swears an oath to protect her subjects) missed a trick in 2009 (your MP expenses "scandal") when it was suggested by constitutionalists that The Queen was technically entitled to suspend Parliament and compel by-elections in the constituencies where an elected MP was proven to have acted criminally.
