@hoth8176 Technically true; but it is not a full explanation of the situation – apart from the Tories being in power as part of coalition for much of the time. In the broadest of terms: the politicised (NWO if you believe in it) civil service, judiciary, border force agencies (and specifically the implementation and interpretation of Human Rights Law) on the domestic ledger; plus, people smugglers/criminals and the French authorities complicit in facilitating the illegality on the EU/French ledger, is an insidious combination resulting in no effective border/frontier enforcement, and the near impossibility of repatriation. The key public sector rôles are run by NuLabour apparatchiks and Common Purpose place-men.
