@iancossey105 A man who knows his Stormy AND his Shakespeare. Pope like Chaucer and the like is often “adjusted” to improve its accessibility for today’s readers. You may know more Shakespeare than me – a point not to be resolved either way on here. For my part, I never much cared for him. Tennyson I enjoy more. Each to their own? Spike Milligan’s Silly Verse for Kids is still more Dawn Butler.

@iancossey105 Ah! An educated Ian, whose Shakespearean expertise is possibly no more than: "A horse A horse! My kingdom for a Norse"? I'd consider the musings of Dawn Butler a reflection of the words of Pope: "Words are like leaves, for where they most abound, the fruit of much sense is rarely found".
