  6. As a socialist, Vietnam isn't as bad of a country as we think it is if it's communism. As an American, I've heard and seen that Vietnam wants to move towards socialism and away from communism which is great! Communism is a more extreme form of socialism its more rigid and less flexible than socialism. Keep in mind yes communists were socialists but not all socialists were communists, i dont consider myself a communist. Reason why i became one was because capitalism is making our lives wo'rse 😔 sadly i thought it was bs until i saw more depth into it as i digged deeper. Socialism does work saying it doesnt is just as silly as saying capitalism doesnt work. Honestly theirs so many myths and misunderstandings of what socialism is and isnt. I suggest watc'hing the YT channel second thought who expl'ains amazing stuff on what socialism is and how amazing it actually is and the goals it wants while socialism isnt perfect its something that needs to come and replace capitalism. We are currently in late stage capitalism.
