  1. My two favorites on this list are Seattle and San Diego. I’ve never been to San Francisco, but it sounds like it would be my third favorite if I had. The city I have visited by far the most often is New York; I live about 100 miles from there. I love visiting NYC but would not want to live there. One city that is also “a nice place to visit, but…” is Las Vegas. Definitely not a summer destination though.

  2. I liked Denver when I visited. I could totally live there, but I didn’t think the city had much personality; maybe that’s just me. To me it was a stepping stone to the Rockies.
