  2. Puebla is east of Mexico City. (Okay, it’s also slightly south, but much more east. I made a similar comment about Rochester and Buffalo.)

  3. Mathew Fullerton - The Wikipedia article on Yucatán briefly showed the pronunciation with no comment about syllable stress. The sound clip showed what seem to be a slight stress on the last syllable. I have tended to stress the first syllable, although I guess it could be pronounced without stresses as \you-kuh-tan\. I think we can agree that it’s not pronounced \YUCK-a-tan\.
