  1. The fact that one Nutmegger isn’t aware of the Los Angeles Kings being an NHL franchise (and two-time Stanley Cup champion) is hardly relevant to Connecticut’s utility costs. Neither is the inability to differentiate Danbury, CT (which really is a nice place) with Darby, PA. It’s an interesting tale to some of us, but not relevant to the topic of this video.

  2. Absolutely no surprise that Connecticut is #1; I figured they would be Top Five before watching the video. I keep my utility bills within reason by leaving lights off unless I need them, and by keeping the thermostat at 66° in the winter and 77° in the summer. But I have long known that CT’s utility rates are among the highest in the country. I will guess that one state with one of the lowest utility costs will be Washington, with my second guess being Oregon. I won’t venture a guess on the other eight states.
