Amazing, is it not - Taliban put together and funded by CIA in counter to the then Russian aggressors. $$$ handed over to the alligence shifting warlords and Talib fighting group - AlQuaida, that would do battle withem. That the CIA turned up one day to state, without any cash 'nice knowing you guys, bye', and what then transpired to the internal devastation taking place. I thought Afghanistan just wanted all foreign armies OUT, for goodness sake. To let them breathe in their own Country.
