  2. I've always understood that the Brits advised their US comrades to NOT disband Iraqi existing sec serv's. Problematically they did just that, by virtue of their religious branch they found themselves unemployable - with families to support and turned to gangster ism for income and, effectively, the kernel which became eventually ISIS. If I'm wrong in this assumption please put me right. Notwithstanding the iffyness of the claimed reason for going in anyway, being more to do with grabbing oil than taking hold of mythical WMD, the whole concept seemed to be a mistake, as with Lybia.
