  1. Why don't they just buy a cross channel ferry ticket? That way would be cheaper and safer than a try, try and try again rubber, plus they wouldn't need to dump their papers, guess that's part of their disappearing game....

If they've the dosh to keep trying by rubber again and again and then to claim asylum or whatever, 'losing' their papers in the process then can't see for life of me why they don't opt for a cheaper and safer ferry ticket and crossing, unless their intent upon touching UK shores is to rat like scurry up off the shingle to mingle and vanish from sight. Thus illegal all the way ont road to NW England...

If these boaty peeps are loaded enough to keep trying again and again to skirt Le Ditch by rubber then I'd suggest that, rather than scrubbing their id's and pports, they instead buy a cross channel ferry ticket and travel legit instead - they could then at least claim they were holidaying tourists and arrive on UK shores safely, then begin their 'game'.
