  1. What about the generational, just ticking over, farms, as opposed to the JClarksons tax hideaway scores ? Where, maybe, the house would be worth a packet on its own, similarly the land that makes the spread, then again, separately the equipment, if hived off and flogged off at any farmers market, but that's not how farms operate and all those things make up several generational hand downs of a working singular. These tax plans would mean any essential 1/3 would have to be disposed off thus the death knell for any medium sized family owned farm. Reminds of the way Labour got their grabbers into many of the houses and estates after the WWar years.

  3. ​ @zachaustin-humphries7029 Remember the post WWar dayze when Labour went for the then most obvious grand houses and estates which the decimation of same up to 2 a week and how did that help the country or small communities it gajnfully employed apart from leaving villages as hardly ever visited second homes.....

  4. Once UK govts got the taste for general taxation, post WW1, that was it, they couldn't believe HOW MUCH they were raking in, but the ball was rolling... If I've heard it right this country is IN DEBT DEEP for the next 70 years. Where's all the money gone, if they can't even afford to keep essential services running and still they chase pies in the sky.....
