  2. What impresses this viewer is the magnificence of the sedimentary rock all this has been built upon. Just think of the billions of years it took for all those layers to laid down at the bottom of some long forgotten ocean, then later to be scoured out by hard hitting rivers sourced from some melting glacial depositions, defies belief!
