  47.  @syav4467  Ukraine was one of the most developed soviet republics when USSR collapsed. I think its GDP in 1991 was only slightly less of Russia's. The fact that it's so economically small and weak now is a courtesy of their crooked elites/government, who looted the country like crazy. It's known as one of the most corrupt countries for a reason.
