  3. Sri Lanka's debt is 119% of GDP. Just for comparison: Greece - 193.3%, Italy - 150.8%, Portugal -127.4%, Spain - 118.4%, France - 112.9%, Belgium - 108.2%, Cyprus - 103.6%. US debt - 134% of GDP. Yet somehow the debt of these countries is totally sustainable. Obviously, it's a manufactured crisis to force a regime change and install a more compliant "puppet".

  4.  @rajk2169  The debt of so called "developed countries" is much higher. If a "developing country" means that the debt has much higher interest rate, then I call it predatory lending and an instrument of foreign subversion/influence (e.g. you owe us and we don't restructure the debt or give a new loan to repay old debt interest unless you do X,Y,Z). The best example of that would be IMF loans to Ukraine couple years ago, which had interest rate of 30% and new loans had political demands of passing certain laws (e.g. sell of agricultural land to foreign bidders)
