What a pity it's such a fragmentary text - great work, friend! Blessed Ramadan, happy and kosher Pesach and happy Easter to all celebrating!

Such an honor and pleasure to be on our shared Spinoza pilgrimage together! We even got to stop at one of Descartes' houses as well!

Folks, this guy is a blessing - Count me thankful for you and your content, Filip. Happy New Year, brother!

Such solid content here - thanks! I tried to visit Amarna while I was visiting Egypt several years ago. Sadly, it's pretty much only possible if you pay off-duty police/soldiers to accompany you. Ditto with Nag Hammadi.

Wonderful analysis on a figure I knew very little about. Thanks for making his works and life accessible! Glad you are back to producing content! Would love a treatment of Al-Hallaj and Rabia and women sufis in general. One thing I look on with some sadness is the dirth of women mystics/philosophers in the Jewish world at this time and that they existed in the Islamicate (and Christian) context makes me exciting to learning more about them. Also, glad to help with the lens - the world is a better place when we help each other amplifier each others voices!

@LetsTalkReligion Yeah and apparently it's getting harder and harder. Daesh, may their name be erased, has gotten bolder especially in the Sinai and the interior is pretty unsteady. I expect - with profound disappointment - that I'll never safely be able to visit most ancient near east sites in my lifetime. It's such a profound loss for all humankind and the tragic and sinful result of my country's foreign policy.

"handsome" - Definitely not that beaded guy.

No idea why this came up in my feed - considering it's unlisted - but such solid work and also famously also applicable to Jewish Mysticism, i.e., kabbalah, as well. Mazel tov on your wedding, much appreciation for you and you work, brother!

Very helpful and well made video - thanks so much for this. Would love to collaborate on something in the future!

@LetsTalkReligion To my knowledge there is a real lack. Of course, they are there in the background as wives, mothers, sisters, etc., and are doing the work that society to this day still renders invisible but sadly I don't think anything survives from a woman's hand on this topic from the medieval period if it ever existed.

@Randomuser2329 I'm pretty sure the links are there and I have nothing but profound respect for Filip's work.
