Most of the southern half of the country has had it's trees removed due to farming . Apparently the original deal was you remove the trees you could have a lease on the land which is very disturbing because now there's no bloody trees anywhere especially in South Australia where I live. I can see a mountain range from my front lawn without a single tree on it and that wasn't even for farming that was just people wanted wood but they never put the trees back

A lot of councils say it's illegal to use grey water on the garden

Every scientist on earth will tell you if you have more trees you have more rain but the farmers are too dopey to understand that. I've actually had them say to me but the rain comes from somewhere else 😂😂😂😂

@damonroberts7372 well before you get all excited and think you're gods give to intelligence with your great big long statement , the government paid farmers to rip trees out in a very fragile environment that couldn't cope with that and we are now seeing the effects and there was a time when the entire country was rainforest which was a long time ago. No one is saying the entire country was green at the point of settlement but we had millions more trees and removing them has been very detrimental to the weather in Australia. Look at Queensland a tropical environment where now they are having severe droughts and the ground is dead because of over farming . Where I live in South Australia so windy now they can't build wind turbines because theres simply no trees to stop wind. So maybe go and stick the British landscape artist up your skinny little ass and actually give us some facts if you want to have people taking you seriously

South Australia has a desal plant but they're too expensive to turn on

@kevinkelly7078 Plenty of country kids would have growing up seeing this sort of thing it only seems to be real when it hits the city

@Bluepilled-c5t It's not that complicated you plant trees it keeps the salt from rising and it's been proven when you put in lots of trees it rains. Look at the areas in Australia that still have trees, plenty of rain . And yes we may need some irrigation systems to get the tree started which might be possible if we're not using it all for cotton growing but it can be done

@Bluepilled-c5t I have absolutely no idea who that person is . I make up my own mind about things I don't need to be told what to think

@Bluepilled-c5t It's not like I need to be into land management lol it's something that's essential for the future. I live in South Australia and basically we've removed all the trees in outback for farming . I live on the edge of a country town, across the road all I can see is a mountain range with not a single tree on it and empty paddocks to the Horizon . I will check out this Peter guy he sounds interesting

@Bluepilled-c5t If I could put a photo up on YouTube I would happily walk across the road and show you what most of South Australia looks like the earth is dead . So if we were to do mass tree planting we would also have to do improve the soil . It's mainly weat growing here but the farmers have to use chemicals to make it grow because the soil is buggered . I've been in my current place for 5 years and I've spent hundreds if not thousands bringing soil in to improve the property so I can grow fruit trees and veggie gardens it looks quite weird having a green front lawn and then across the road at the red dust of South Australia

@Bluepilled-c5t Nothing to do with aesthetics . One of main concerns is the extreme wind we suffer ,where I can't have my windows open because everything in the house will just flys to the front door lol also trees soak up all the crap in the environment which is desperately needed at the moment when people insist on buying plastic from China made in unregulated factories. Also we wouldn't need to bring in soil as such every council has lots of compost that they could certainly use to improve the soil . I didn't have the money to bring in a digger to dig up the soil and turn it over so basically just put good soil on top , i wish I had the industrial diggers the council have. Lastly you must live in a wonderful part of Australia because I've never seen black soil here only in my yard. Great chatting

@kevinkelly7078 obviously you've never got out of your little food bowl and seen the rest of Australia where we have lots of trees in areas where it doesn't rain a lot but when you have lots of trees together the rain improves . In Adelaide we have plenty of rain but I'm just west of Adelaide on another Peninsula where all the trees were removed and we hardly get any . As for your channels drying up well every 10-year-old remembers the evaporation thing from school obviously if you're going to have channels in a drought what do you expect? Also we have the problem of greedy farmers trying to feed half of Asia which the environment simply can't cope with and we're not getting any of the food so don't give me the food bowl bulshit I can never find Australian produce when I'm at the shop. And I guarantee they didn't close down the cotton manufacturers during the drought. You only have to look at Queensland now that was a tropical place that was great for growing stuff but now they pulled out all the trees worse than the Amazon and they're starting to have major issues there . If you want to be in an industry that involves using the environment you have to understand how it works and listened to the scientists not what grandpa told you .

So to solve a drought we take more water out of the environment so the evaporation system can't work . Of course if we'd stop growing cotton in this country we may have a bit of extra water

@j.kaimori3848 I didn't mention fountains . I'm simply saying I believe a million people watering their gardens during a drought would actually help the situation.but switching one or two fountains off is not going to do anything especially when the water is recycled. Those sort of ideas come from silly blonde women that think they're making a difference when they're actually not doing anything

@kevinkelly7078 well where do you think the weather comes from it comes from the west where there is no water because you bastards are using it all upstream and don't allow it to flow down to us . And the little that we do get is so disgusting and barely usable because you use so much on cotton and industries like that . The ground needs to be moist to have evaporation to create the rain cycle and if you're holding back the water that's going to be effected
