I heard a tragic story when I was living in Canberra of the last lady who spoke the local language. the Aboriginal people if you could call them that we're going to record the language so they can start teaching young people and revive it but the young Canberra people love to protest they get off on protesting and while they were screaming and yelling and pretending they were Aboriginal out there with their spotlight costumes on the poor lady died and the language with her because the locals weren't interested in culture or language just abusing white people and getting their face on the evening news
