They didn't actually do anything really other than bring the issue to the surface

No she wasn't clearly innocent. at the time most Australians thought she was guilty and alot still think that is the case. What sane person would leave their newborn baby in a tent at Ayres rock ?

She did a fantastic job portraying Lindy what a load of crap it become the biggest laughing stock movie in Australian history

@Goodiesfanful there was only a small amount of blood in the car from memory which certainly could have happened if the child was murdered and then blood was spilt on to Lindy then she's gone back to the car. But I must say this takes me back when the entire country was arguing with each other long before social media about what happened . Everyone had an opinion that wasn't just she did it or she didn't like now where there's only two options . It's worth remembering that this was the time when religious cults all over the world were killing people and the fact that she was another one of these type of people made it very suspicious

@Terryterryterryterryterry well I'm actually a grown man I'm 51 so don't call me dude cheers. Now there is a lot more to this case than anyone is actually aware . And no one will ever know conclusively whether she did or did not do this . In any case she should have gone to jail for leaving a newborn baby in a tent in the middle of the Australian outback. Andi came from a travelling family ,we get to hear things that a lot of people don't like the police in the territory thinking that it wasn't her it was another family member but of course evidence is hard to gather in the middle of the bush

@Terryterryterryterryterry I'm certainly glad you weren't there when I walked through the Canberra mall and saw a guy strumming a ukulele singing a song about this . I went into fits of hysterics ,horses for courses I suppose

@Terryterryterryterryterry I heard a story of the police telling Lindy jokes outside the courtroom and one of the family members started laughing . Even yesterday I was in a shopping centre with this obnoxious child screaming it's head off. as I walked past an elderly gentleman I said "where's a dingo when you need one" I thought he was going to need medical help he was laughing so much . If we knew 100% that she didn't do it well yes maybe it would be a bit off but it was never proven 100% that she was innocent they were just guessing .

@Juanita-gf4te it's the Australian outback we can't excuse stupidity , they would have known dingoes were there. It's like saying my son got eaten by a shark I didn't know any were out there

@marshallwayne-uf4pq I am 51 and quite well aware of the story lol

Of course there's no police corruption today we're all living in a perfect utopian world where that doesn't happen what a load of bulshit
1
@Terryterryterryterryterry it was hilarious them trying to do an Australian accent. it's just people like you born in this century that don't understand because to you everything is offensive
1
@Terryterryterryterryterry what is really messed up is one white child goes missing and the entire country is captivated but Aboriginal people go missing all the time and no one could care less .

@zoebiboei216 At least you can see who I am. now off you go little girl I understand being born after 1990 you don't have a sense of humour
1
Still to this day no one knows what actually happened so they locked her up for a while just in case .
1
You have the right but you don't use it
1
So because they couldn't find evidence to convict her she's a hero what a load of bulshit

If you've only just heard of this one you're not Australian and you're not qualified to comment on this
