  5. US is happy to work with non democratic countries. Once Cuba integrates with America the Cuban government will dissolve. May take a few decades. End result is democracy. USA can grant some trade for some concessions. Justice system. Small businesses. Cubansccan get prosperous outside nation use industry Bit like China. National industry is failed. Private industry succeeding.

The Cuban refugees are mostly dead if very old. Property list is exaggerated. Only 1% if Cubans would have owned much Reality is compensation would be a tiny fraction of economic benefit. Europe and USA would economically aid Cuba to transition. The benefits of not having an anti American neighbour would be a huge bargain.

  10. Good thinking. Move to social democracy like Germany. A little bit of free enterprise would go a long way. Cuba should be a major good exporter but needs to free farms from socialism. Even Russia is a good exporter since communism died.
