@topherh5093 No. Men are physically stronger, the head of the family, and should take responsibility for the children they produce. Even if they are divorced, she was still his wife and his child is still his child.

@topherh5093 He’s supposed to step up and be a man. Find out the legalities, do what it takes, deal with it.

@LinA-it9vd I don’t have children. I don’t really know what I would have done if the father wouldn’t step in. I’d rather have my son kill me and get caught and put away, than have my son, the child I brought into this world, go out and kill a stranger, somebody’s precious child, family member.

Illinois is not a death penalty state. Why would they keep this thing alive? For what? To let him back out on to the streets to kill someone else?

@DobuDobuDobuDot Those police officers DID serve the people. They got that POS off the streets. He murdered her girlfriend, his baby, and a police officer and you're worried about him getting kicked in the head? Hell, I wish they would have kicked him harder.

@Seccsi Oooh. Did she walk out on him? That wasn't good. I agree that he would have no responsibility toward her. Still, I think if I was a man and my ex wife thought my son might kill her--I think I would intervene even though I wasn't legally obligated to do so. But if a man hated his son and ex-wife so much, and he didn't HAVE to intervene--I guess I can see why he wouldn't.
