***** Yes He does! How crazy that its okay to be be anti-Christian but its not okay to be anti-Atheist.

Derp Z Yes. I guess there is. Still, its hard to not take it personally when when people attack your beliefs, your credibility, call you names. Seems like we Christians get a lot of that from people who really don't even know what Christians believe. I think Steve Harvey makes a valid point when he asks how an atheist determines what is right or wrong.

Derp Z But where does that morality come from? You say its the wrong thing to do but there are people who think it is the right thing to do or that it is excusable. And there you go, accusing a Christian of having no morals. I didn't accuse you of having no morals. I just asked where you get them. I agree with you that killing is wrong but still don't understand why you think that.

Derp Z No problem. I've been called some pretty bad stuff just because I'm Christian. I believe that our morality, our ideas of right and wrong, come from God. I can understand a person not believing in God or being confused about it because I have been there myself. But where does that idea of empathy come from if it doesn't come from God? I think to say that "it just is" falls short. My only point here is just go defend Steve Harvey for asking the question. I don't think he should be attacked for asking. Good luck to you and have a nice evening.

MusicOfAdam Well, I have never heard Steve Harvey mention killing an atheist but if he has, please send me the clip. I agree with everything he says. Also, no Christian I know of believes in a Jewish carpenter or any other kind of person "in the sky." That minimizes what Christianity really is. I think he asks a legitimate question about where an atheist gets his morality. I have yet to hear that question answered in a way that makes any sense to me.

MusicOfAdamThank you. I will look for that video. I still think you're mistaken re: morality based on culture and environment. If that was true, why did we fight the nazis? Why would we be so outraged at 911? I believe the nazis and terrorists violated some objective moral standards that are not based on culture and environment. But I'll look for that Steve Harvey clip. Cheers.

hawklord2001 Doesn't matter. When you reduced yourself to name calling, it was apparent to me that you're just picking a fight and I didn't want to participate. Your understanding of Christianity is obviously superficial and, while I do agree with some of what you say, it didn't seem worth discussing you. I think morality is objective, you don't. Let's end it here.
