Dems have been trying to ban this type of wep. for years. Please try showing some actual compassion for the grieving family. Say something supportive in case they read these comments. Lift them up, and maybe your words will give them a little comfort and strength to manage the pain they are in.

You see the gut wrenching sadness of this family as a superfluous detail, I see it as the precise subject of the segment. You are looking at projectile trajectory and body position, I am looking at pain and loss.

Lift them up and encourage them. The pain they must be in is brutal. Show them some respect and love. That's what we used to do for our neighbors...

  10. Most of the comments here give me hope for us as a nation. No politics, just heartfelt grief and support for an innocent victim and his grieving family. What happened that day was cruel, unjust, evil, and tragic. My heart goes out to them as they try to adjust to the pain.

  12. Hang on, they don't owe ANYONE an explanation on why they didn't take Biden's call. We are free, and that means we don't have to take phone calls if we don't want to. I am glad Biden tried to reach out, but no one should feel obligated to talk to anyone. These folks have that right, and they don't have to justify it to anyone.

  16. Disagree. It's their right to decline any call, and they don't owe us an explanation. I am glad Joe tried, but I fully support their rights to talk or not talk to people based solely on their own prerogatives. When a wife has just witnessed her husband of 20 something years murdered, any expectation that she behave graciously while in shock is foolish and unreasonable. We have GOT to have more compassion, respect, and understanding towards those who are dealing with heartbreaking tragedy.

  18. I fully agree! Where we might not agree is where this violence is coming from. All those years ago when trump told the police not to be too gentle when putting detainees into cars.... I knew right then this would be our future. When he called for people to be thrown out of his rally and promised security that if they beat up the protesters he would pay their legal bills? Yeah, I knew this is what would come to us.
