I listened to the Governor's speech and I listened to the Sheriff's speech. Neither one of them said ANYTHING about what they are going to do to prevent this from happening again.

In that MAGA family? I doubt it.

Do you think God let these babies and teachers get killed because he wasn't getting enough worship?

Interesting suggestion. Do you think God wasn't getting enough praise from schools, so he let these kids and teachers be harmed? Can we assume that God let this happen to this community because he was displeased with them? If so, how much worship does God need? When should we pray, and what prayers does God like best? Let's get this right, and make sure we don't disappoint God. We can't stand to keep losing our babies and our teachers!

Thank you very much, Carl Bernstein.

@gmc4500 I thought it was the FBI also, but actually the FBI forwarded the threats to the Barrow Sheriff's office. THEY are the ones who met with the MAGA dad and didn't find cause to act. The sheriff is - in his words - "Proud Republican".

@_Nathan- What do I think we should do? "Post action assessment": Inspect the plan implemented in Georgia by the Republican Governor, the Republican controlled state legislature, the Republican County Sheriff, and the Republican controlled local school board. They placed armed cops in the school. Those cops ran towards danger, risked their lives, and stopped the shootings. This was the plan, and everyone did their job in the plan. Now we need to ask ourselves: Was this a good plan? Did it work, or are we about to bury our babies and teachers? You tell me. You tell us, pal.

@lindamullins1446 You are correct. Tips were received by the FBI, but since they were not federal crimes the threats were referred to the Barrow County Sheriff office. The BCSO sent officers to talk to the kid's father, and they did. They found no probable cause to make an arrest, so they didn't.
