  28. It is you (and other ignorant conservatives). 7 of the top 10 states with the highest violent crime rates are deeply red, fully Republican Controlled. Here are some examples: Oklahoma has a higher rate of violent crimes than New York or Illinois (including data from Chicago 😳). Also higher than California: Alabama, Arkansas, Alaska, Tennessee, Louisiana, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, and more. You watch too much Fox News, dingus. The five states with the LOWEST violent crime rates? All five are liberal blue states. So don't ask questions, it will lead to you being informed.

You ARE in charge, with the power of management, governance, and legislation! My state has ONE federal level democrat in office, and ONE at the state level. Every other office holder is Republican. Yet, our violent crime rate is higher than California- higher than New York- higher than New Jersey. Higher than Illinois, which includes Chicago! You have had control, and Republicans INCREASE violent crime. I understand that you are well-intentioned, but don't give a drowning man water. We've suffered enough under Republicans.
