  14.  @burnedagain6187 I have had some experience relating to the rules of evidence in criminal cases. I also have read every transcript and report released by Jim Jordan's House Judicial Committee (Jim never passed the Bar, FYI). Nothing Jim has touched would be admissible. Now you might want to tell me I don't know what I am talking about. But ask yourself this: Have they used that 'evidence' to secure an indictment? From the lap top to the bank records- everything Jordan has touched has lost any probative value. Chain of custody is non-existent, and most if not all items would swiftly be challenged as prejudicial.

I want to ask you to add two more facts to your narrative: #1 NO ONE (including David Weiss) did any investigating until 2019, which is 5 years into a 7 year statute of limitations. #2. Forcing potential witnesses of a former Soviet Union State to comply with a subpoena is not a thing. Ukraine is a sovereign nation, and her citizens are not governed by our laws. This makes it much more difficult to flush out the truth. I over-simplify for the dim-witted conservatives out of necessity. I am explaining these things to YOU because I think you can understand them. I don't know Weiss, I don't care about Weiss. Same for Hunter. What I do care about is truth. That REQUIRES us to contemplate the evidence that contradicts the conclusion we prefer.

  30.  @GM-dt4gv Gah! So much to respond to. Hunter didn't pay taxes. He was trying to plead guilty. Being tipped before a search: So was Trump. They TOLD him they were coming to look for stolen classified documents. So he moved them. Shapley and Zig: Read their testimony transcripts. The plea deal collapse: Wrong. I know your TV says that, but it's just another lie. Read the court reporter's transcript. The judge pointed out to Hunter's lawyer that unlike most plea agreements, Hunter could still be prosecuted for other things related to these crimes. Hunter withdrew his plea. Garland didn't properly appoint: I know your TV says that, but again: LIE. Read the open letter Weiss sent to Congress requesting the opportunity to testify (Republicans would not let him).

If you told me you were drinking a Bud Lite, I might say "who cares?". That is not the same as trying to stop you from drinking a Bud Lite. If someone saying "who cares" feels like someone is trying to STOP you, well... ❄❄❄❄❄

  33. I don't know about all that, but what I CAN see is that there have been ZERO indictments, and ZERO impeachment votes. Maybe more of us would be convinced if there were some legit action, and not just bloviating on the Republican media outlets.

  34.  @williamwells8672 That doesn't explain it. Why hasn't a real Republican taken all this evidence to a STATE court and asked for an indictment? The states of New York and Georgia both indicted Trump, and the DOJ can't stop any state from enforcing their criminal laws. Surely there is at least ONE real Republican who can drive his/her butt down to a state courthouse.
