As someone who reads nearly EVERY court ruling in EVERY Trump trial, I am going to tell you that ineffectiveness of council will not be a viable defense. There is overwhelming evidence that Trump was advised by 6 of his OWN attorneys that what he was doing was against the law. But your process of logic is solid.

We know where the case stands in terms of evidence, both what exists and what will be admitted. We know a lot more than anyone would ever see if their information sources are the nightly news and Facebook.
